As the quote below shows Shiites had a good amount of political influence in Pakistan during the post war period. Would it be possible to have a Shia dominated Pakistan? First step would be preventing General Zia from taking power and the Sunni Islamization that followed. Maybe the Iranian revolution could play a role?
