Hello, the scenario here is as follows:

Set in the 1970s and 1980s, have the President of the United States moonlight as a serial killer. Perhaps he's ex-special forces and is able to discretely rack up a huge body count before people start noticing. He doesn't always have to kill someone, but he should take someone out at least once every few months or so. Let's say he is able to hide this from even the Secret Service (or they know about it but he's made them look the other way).

Also, he must be elected and serve at least one full term.


Challenge: These must be serial killings. Killing political rivals doesn't count. Ordering people to be killed doesn't count either. The president has to actually be the murderer. He can have accomplices, however.

What is the reaction when he's caught? What if he's caught while he's in office? Or what if no one finds out about it until years later after he's long been dead.
