AHC Saxony not Prussia dominent power in Germany

Have a Saxon elector focus more on the military instead of arts and represantation. The Saxons were the cultural power house of northern Germany during most of the 18th century. If all this money goes into the army this might change a lot.
Another thought is a lasting control of the polish and lithunian realms and the breaking of the might of local nobles under the rule of for example August the strong. I don´t know enough about Polish history to say how possible this is.
This two changes combined (the first is probably necessary for the second) would create a superpower, but could we call it a German one anymore?

Maybe have the Miracle of the House of Brandenburg not happen? I'm not sure how that will allow Saxony to rise, but at least it does reduce Prussia down to a weak country, and allow a restoration of the Electorate of Saxony as perhaps a Kingdom of Saxony with larger territories than OTL.

If I may, what if the seven years war ends bad for Prussia and for Great B. in Europe.
Prussia looses Silesia to Austria and Saxony gets Hanover from Great Britain. France can still loose its colonies if you don't want the rest of the world change too much. This would also keep them from claiming Hanover making a Kingdom of Saxony and Hanover possible.
If we let the French revolution and Napoleon happen as in OTL we might find the Kingdom of Hanover and Saxony on the side of Napoleon enemys and Prussia on the side of France.
After Napoleons loss, Saxon-Hannover could demands land from Prussia (as Prussia did from Saxony in OTL) to bridge the two kingdoms together into one terrirory. A Northgerman Kingdom if you will.
With that the Saxons are set industrialise their nation just as Prussia did until the 1848 revolutions and since Saxony is not as militaristic as Prussia the King might take the crown when it is offered in Frankfurt/M.
You still get a economically powerful Germany but a far less militant one with the capital in either Dresden, Hanover or Frankfurt/M.

For Saxony to become the dominant player in Germany it should have never been divided into Ernestine Saxony and Albertine Saxony in the Treaty of Leipzig in 1485.
