While Lawson's is most well-known nowadays as a Japanese chain of convenience stores, it was founded in 1939 in Ohio by its namesake, a local milk farmer. Unfortunately, Lawson's in the United States was sold to Dairy Mart in 1985, which in turn was acquired by Circle K in 2002. The Lawson's name, however, had been preserved in Japan by a franchisee in 1975. Your challenge is to continue Lawson's presence in the US. Bonus points if Lawson's expands beyond Ohio, or if it becomes a bicontinental or global retail empire equalling or even exceeding 7-11.
