AHC: Russo-Japanese war not a total Russian failure

I read that the Russians were doing decently well at the Battle of the Yellow Sea. They had managed put a smaller number of Japanese ships up against their larger fleet. However, they had to slow down in the middle of battle several times to cover for the Poltava, which was having engine troubles. How do you guys think the battle might have gone if the Poltava did not have issues with her engines?

In any event, upgrading the TS railway to be more use, by either another track, or upgrading the infrastructure in such a way as to speed up transit/loading etc is a massive industrial effort for which there would be a large opportunity cost.

The battle of the yellow sea was a slugfest, both sides were taking a pounding but it all went horribly wrong for the Russians when the flagship took a hit on her bridge and went out of control, some ships followed, others tried to keep on course and it threw the battleline into chaos. But until then the honours had been pritty even.
