With a POD around either the Partitions of Poland or the Napoleonic Wars/Congress of Vienna, how likely would it be for the Ukrainian-inhabited parts of Galicia (Lwow/Lviv/Lvov and everything east) to go to Russia instead of Austria? And how might a Russian East Galicia affect Ukrainian nationalism? OTL, Austrian Galicia was pretty much the main center of Ukrainian nationalist thought before 1900, and Galician Ukrainian intellectuals were some of the major drivers behind the standardization of the Ukrainian language. Without Galicia, might we see a less nationalist Ukraine, more akin to Belarus in its attitudes towards Russia? What might be some other effects?
