AHC: replace the GI Joe cartoon with Sgt. Rock

I think a 1 hour cartoon would work well with this idea. Each episode would start with a half hour Sgt. Rock segment and then the second half could feature one of the other DC war titles, one week could be the Haunted Tank and the next week could be Enemy Ace or the Losers or perhaps occasionally two 15 minute segments. Another title I would like to see added would be Weird War Tales.

Maybe a variety format a la Rocky and Bullwinkle, with an Easy Co. mission broken up by one offs, but with the various characters weaving in and out of the main Easy Co story line. This week Sgt. Rock and Gravedigger team up and the side stories feature Unknown Soldier and Enemy Ace. Next week, it's Sgt. Rock rescuing Mllm Marie and the side stories are Gravedigger and the Haunted Tank.

As for the AHC, I can think of a number of ways to do it. Hasbro simply let's GI Joe go is maybe the easiest. Or maybe a simple inversion of the companies involved in the OTL. Supposedly, GI Joe got it's comic and cartoon via a chance meeting of CEO's in a mens room. Just switching DC for Marvel, and you might have a TL where Hasbro sees an opprotunity to license a Sgt. Rock line to replace the old GI Joe line.

Two things that would have to be done are; one tone down the violence and two get rid of any Nazi imagery that would normally be used. The first one would be tricky, GI Joe used lasers but I don't think that will work for WWII best I can think of is that there will be a lot of wounded soldiers.
As to the later just replace the swastikas with maltese crosses.

The toy line should be pretty cool. :)
