AHC: Religiously Diverse Middle East

Is it possible for the Caliphate to collapse early and thus the Muslim conquest of Persia is undone before Persia is majority-Muslim? And that would also mean a more Christian Levant and a more Coptic Egypt, and definitely a majority-Christian Anatolia. It's going to be interesting when the Seljuks arrive.

And the Greek versus Armenian dichotomy in Anatolia would be interesting too, with possible Chaldeanand Syriac pockets too.

The Caliphate's collapse is not the same as the collapse of Islamic rule, though.
