Pyrrhus of Epirus is simultaneously considered one of the greatest military minds of the ancient world, and one of the most reckless and (some would argue) idiotic generals of the Hellenic world. After retreating from Italy and his wars will Rome and Carthage, he sought the throne of Macedon, which led to a bloody war throughout Greece and Macedon, culminating in a the Battle of Argos, where he was killed and beheaded fighting in the crowded city streets.
So, is it possible for the man to take the throne of Macedonia, and to possibly unify Greece during this war? Could it have ended differently, and with an Epirote victory?
