AHC:Prevent the 1801 Act of Union

From any POD you wish, how could the Act of Union between Britain and Ireland have been prevented allowing the Irish Parliament to continue on into the 19th Century? Would Catholic Emancipation have occured earlier or later in such a TL and what would have been the wider implications for Britain and Ireland?

Then simply butterfly away the French Revolution, or at least prevent the rise of the First Republic. Thus Britain retains its (legal fiction by this point) claim to the throne of France, and thus no 1801 Act of Union.

Catholic emancipation would be massively delayed. It's one thing to give Catholics a voice, it's quite another to give them actual control, as would have happened had Ireland not been subsumed into the UK.

No 1798 Irish uprising would avert it obviously.

No Pitt the Younger would also help, union with Ireland was his brilliant idea (sarcasm) to tackle the problems exposed by the uprising.
