AHC: Prevent Sweden-Norway From Dissolving

As it says on the tin. How might the dissolution of the union between Sweden and Norway be avoided, and when must it take place? Is it possible to save it in the first few years of the 20th century (minimal butterflies) or does the POD need to be before 1900?

The problem was the King's refusal to consider Norway's interests in foreign policy- or at least that's the way the Norwegians saw it. Simply have the King be more willing to balance Swedish and Norwegian interests in foreign policy particularly trade negotiations would have gone a long way to preventing any immediate crises in the early 1900's

Keeping the interstate laws that created more of a common market between the two would have helped

The essential problem of the union- that the two countries had always been separate except for foreign policy would remain- the interests and policies were bound to drift apart
