AHC: President Jerry Brown

Is there any way to get CA Governor Jerry Brown elected president? Either in his 1976 bid or in 1992?

What would a Brown Presidency look like in either situation?

You could check out theev's TL. Or if he ran right from the beginning and won Iowa or NH in 1976 he could win the nominaction. With California going to him he has an edge plus he'd do better outside the South so he could get a narrow victory. In 1992 if Clinton bombed late enough that Tsongas was done but early enough that Brown could still get a majority he might win. Maybe rape allegations come out after Super Tuesday. Brown squeaks out a bare majority with wins in New York, Wisconsin and California. He runs as an outsider. Perot doesn't run and supports Brown. Winning Perot voters and using anti-establishment frustration, he beats Bush narrowly despite Bush warning he is 'kooky' and 'the chaos candidate'. Or Brown could run in 2016. He could take the role of Sanders but be better at it and without the whole 'socialist' label. While he is very old he's a unique and weird guy and I wouldn't put it past him.
