AHC: President Jerry Brown after 2010

I know president Jerry Brown has been done but is their any way we could get him to the presidency after he wins the 2010 California governors race?

Kerry wins in 2004 so the Democrats are the ones who own the botched Katrina response, the implosion of Iraq, and the Great Recession.

McCain presides over a mediocre recovery and is vulnerable in 2012. Brown wins the D nomination.

Obama never enters politics, and decides to teach at U. of Chicago full time. Kerry wins in 2004, economy still crashes, and he loses to a Republican in 2008. Schwarzenegger wins re-election in 2006, but his second term is a mess and Brown wins in 2010 as per OTL. Hillary loses to the Republican President in 2012 in a close election, even though the economy is still a mess. Brown's great job at turning California around gets enough people to support him and he runs and wins in 2016.

Brown enters in 2016, and Bernie stays out and endorses him. He holds a little more weight than Sanders does and is able to wrest the nomination from Hillary. He doesn't carry her baggage on the general and beats Trump in November by holding Michigan, PA, and FL.

Yeah, having him take Bernie's place seems like the best bet.
