This is perhaps rather dystopic, but the challenge here is to make Former Attorney General Janet Reno POTUS. Bonus points if it doesn't involve a decimating event during the Clinton presidency.

that's the current norm in law enforcement. I wish it wasn't but it seems like it is. I mean, also look at Mayor Wilson Goode of Philadelphia signing off on a plan to put a bomb on the roof of MOVE --- when many of the people they were saying they were trying to protect were children whose parents were members of MOVE (mid-1980s). It's such a clumsy, heavy-handed, ham-handed plan that it kind of boggles the imagination.

So, a story of redemption . . .

Reno apologizes. She not just attends one memorial, but attends several. And is open to a process of ? bending the path and improving things.

Here's a thought...

1978-1986: State Attorney for Miami.
1986-1994: Attorney General of Florida.
1998-2004: Governor of Florida.
2004-2012: President of the United States.
