Inspired by my reading about this Ukrainian Neo-Pagan Unit that has been fighting on the side of the Donetsk People's Republic as well as the life of Jan Stachniuk, a Pole who organised Neo-Paganism in inter-war Poland and called for an abandonment of Christianity followed by a return to traditional Slavic life. Admittedly, he seems to have been an anti-Semite and a racist, but what can you do?
He went on to fight in the Polish Underground and taking part in the Warsaw Uprising, during which he was wounded three times, before being arrested by the Soviets in 1949 wherein he was made a cripple. He died in 1963.
So here's my challenge, make a Neo-Pagan unit of the Polish Underground (it can be anything from a dozen to hundreds strong but the larger the better) that engages in combat with the German military (even if said combat is limited to a small firefight or two). The unit should exist for a reasonable length of time (I leave that to your interpretation) and Brownie points if it fights in the Warsaw Uprising.
Who would lead such a unit? My suggestion would be Jan Stachniuk as he seems to have been the most influential Polish Neo-Pagan of the time and leader of the largest organisation, but if you you think one of the other options is better, go right ahead with them.
Btw, I fully acknowledge that my very very limited reading on Polish inter-war Neo-Paganism has all been done on wikipedia (and usually translated by google too
) Sorry!
