AHC: Plausible Anglo-Romance Language

Your challenge, should you accept, is to have a Romance language based on the Anglic languages (an Anglo-Saxon vereion of Brithenig) plausibly develop there.

PoD is the arrival of the Anglo-Saxons to England.

Well, it probably existed OTL a romance language in Britain, at least in elaboration.

The main problem is a relativly weak linguistic creolisation of Roman Britain : more you go in North and West, less romanized Britain was eventually.
And as Anglo-Saxones eventually took over the richer part, that was the most romanized aera...Well, it was somewhat bound to disappear after the invasions.

The original Anglo-Saxon takeover (by Hengest & Horsa, if you believe the old stories) goes more easily, with less opposition, so that most of the province remains under their rule consistently from then on. This means that they're exposed to more Roman influence than IOTL while still a relatively low poportion of the total population.
