AHC Persia has access to the Black Sea

Would it be in the interest of Persia if they got access to the Black Sea (preferable by capturing Georgia) somewhere in the 1740's (because Nader Shah is Mary Tzu)? I don't know how effectively the Ottomans made use of the port of Basra for their trade.

Also, how long would it take before the Russians would take it?

Edit: Post-1500 TL is also plausible

He actually did took Georgia from the Turks, the thing is he is crazy and everyone hates him, eventually someone is going to kill him, once he dies, his empire is going to fragment. He is a military genius, not an empire builder, and thus he is meaningless in the long run.

IOT, he conquered from the Black Sea to Dheli, but his empire was divided between his generals after his death. Years of warlordism, eventually caused Iran’s stagnation. The Caucasus however remained disputed territory till the early 19th century, Agha Mohamed khan, sacked Tbilisi in 1795 signaling that their armies were not completely incompetent even during the Qajar period.

What you need it’s not a more militarily successful Nader Shah he is not only as wanked as possible in OTL, but wanking him more just means his empire is going to fragment in more pieces. You would need stronger less feudal Safavid institutions, to ensure peace and continuity.

Let's say they keep it until today as a autonomous Georgian territory. How big would the benefits be of holding a strategic location and being multi-continental?
