AHC: Pannonia remains Romanised

The challenge is pretty straightforward - think of a plausible PoD and series of events that lead to Pannonia remaining Romanised. I think it’s interesting to think about - a Pannonia still inhabited by Romanised settlers speaking a Romance language would completely change European politics.

It’s also possible that, with the Magyars never managing to fully settle the Carpathian Basin, they might have settled further up north in what is today modern-day Poland, or perhaps to the south in Moldavia/Wallachia (and really, a Magyar Romania and a Romanian-ish Hungary is so cool to think about).
