AHC: Pan Slavic Empire

So there’s been a recent thread about wanking Russia after 1900, so this made me wonder if a Pan slavic empire is possible. With any POD after 1453, have there be a stable Slavic empire that encoumpaces all Slavic nations.

This is doable, but it might mean that Russia is less successful in Asia and it might help to push your POD limit back to the Crusade of Varna.

Well, if we somehow manage to remove a contentious religious issue then PLC-Muscovite Union becomes a tangible reality in the early XVII. If within few decades the Muscovite component becomes dominant just by a virtue of being more authoritarian (aka, capable to mobilize military resources more easily and because, as experience of the XVIII century demonstrated, the leading Polish nobility was not immune to various forms of the bribes) then you have a huge viable Slavic state capable to attack the Ottomans with a good chance for success in the late XVII - early XVIII with a following conquest of Bulgaria.

Not sure about plausibility of expanding into the whole Slavic part of the Balkans or conquest of the Hapsburg-held Slavic territories (Czechia, Slovakia, etc.) but you have the rest: Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria (in modern terms).

What about more lucky Vytautas for good start? Vytautas won Battle of Vorskla and became overlord of Moscow. In such situation Vytautas could obviously emancipate from Jogaila's rule and end Polish-Lithuanian union, but says, that some nasty accident happens to Jogaila soon after Vorskla. Polish throne is empty again, and Poles are likely to propose it to Vytautas to keep union alive.
Next target are Czechs, (who IOTL during Hussite Wars proposed their throne to Jogaila, and later to Vytautas and then to sons of Jogaila), also doable.

As you know, wanking Witold is one of my favorite scenarios so no objections there. :)
