So apart from Trump and Truman, what are the other possibilities--both before and after 1900?

The most obvious is Lyman Trumbull, who might have been the Republican candidate for POTUS in 1860 if his fellow-Illinoisan Lincoln had not been available. He also could have been the Liberal Republican candidate in 1872 (though he would probably have lost to Grant). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyman_Trumbull

For a more recent possibility, could the AFL-CIO's Richard Trumka be on a Democratic national ticket? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Trumka

Jonathan Trumbull, Jr. (1740–1809) was U.S. Representative from Connecticut 1789–95, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives 1791–93, U.S. Senator from Connecticut 1795–96, Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut 1796–97, Governor of Connecticut 1797–1809.
Could run for President in 1804

Or his grandson, Joseph Trumbull (1782–1861) who was also a U.S. Representative from Connecticut 1834–35 & 1839–43, as well as Governor of Connecticut 1849–50, could be a Whig candidate from 1852 or 1856.

I found a couple other Trumans--apparently unrelated to Harry S.--who each served a few years in the New York State Senate: Lyman (1806-1881) and his great-nephew James (1874-1957).

Going on similar names:
Zachary Taylor, 12th President of the United States from March 1849 to July 1850 and John Tyler, tenth President of the United States from 1841 to 1845
