- unavailability of testing grounds for Nazis for their weapons, and for a direct conflict between fascism and communism before WWII for that matter. this may weaken Nazi strength due to their lack of experience.
- world fears less the rise of fascism.
- possibly makes aggression by other fascist states(Italy, Japan, Germany) harder, as the Spanish Civil War made an aura of inevitability of a military conflict between fascism and the rest of the world.
- played well, may even butterfly WWII away as we know it.

For a short SCW, figure some way to keep both communists and fascists out.
W/O the Spanish Civil War, aside from no Homage to Catalonia, hence no Orwellian resistance to Soviet-style "socialism", it probably means no Axis, at least, not as it was OTL. Benny the Moose and Adolf the Aryan might end up on opposing sides.
