With a POD after 1950, is it possible to prevent all of the coups and revolutions that took place in this region from 1954 to the present day?
Bonus points if communist guerilla groups never come into existence.
EDIT: By South America, I mean everything south of Mexico, so Central America is included too.

Churchill manages to convince Roosevelt to attack the Soviet Union with help from a re-trained German army after World War II(I've heard this was his plan, but don't ask me for a source).

So, no Cold War means both no Soviet intervention in the western hemisphere, and/or no American paranoia about Soviet influence to justify US intervention. It would be interesting to see what sort of non-Soviet influenced socialist groups, if any, take root in South America and the Caribbean which might pose a challenge to American business interests, thus prompting US invasions, coups, etc. That time-line would be an interesting laboratory to explore the idea of whether the US was sincerely concerned about Sovie expansion, or whether that was all just a cover to protect their economic holdings in the region.
