As part of the Concordant with the Catholic Church, make the Pope grant him the title "King of Jerusalem" in a spiritual/ceremonial sense. Then have him politely convince the Turks to grant him the title to Protector of the Holy Sepulchre and Eastern Christianity (Perhaps as part of a gurantee of Ottoman territorial integrity against attack from other powers).

The only other possibilty is England asking for an armistice and simply ignoring all the events in continental europe,north africa and the middle east.
Of course both options don't seem realistics
