A strong punitive nullification movement by Internet denizens. Essentially, any company or organization that doesn't conform to the popular estimation of what constitutes 'fair use' or a reasonable term of copyright, especially for things that are out of print or circulation gets punished.
How, might you ask?
Well, any time that company is in court for ANYTHING, no matter what it might be, and there's a jury, they get to lose. Only takes about 10% of the population that feels this way to coerce compliance. Once it is clear that the company will frequently lose even bogus lawsuits against it the vultures---I mean, the lawyers...will circle.
