Moldo-Wank
Note: This is a joke.
Short Timeline:
1991: Moldova becomes independent from the collapsing Soviet Union (OTL).
1992: Moldova wins the wars with the Rusophone and Găgăuz separatists and reintegrates Transnistria and Găgăuzia (POD).
1993: Moldova defeats the remnants of the Red Army around its borders and annexes the historic Moldavian lands of Southern Bessarabia (Bugeac), Chilia Danube Delta Islands, Snake Island (too small to show on the map at this scale), Northern Bessarabia (Hotin Județ), Northern Bukovina, Herța Area, Edisan (Southern Historic Transnistria), Pocuția (Pokuttya) and, for good measure, Northern Maramureș and neighbouring areas (as the first Moldavian Voivodes, Dragoș and Bogdan, originated from that area).
1994: Romania wants to unite with Moldova to recreate Greater Romania but the Moldavians reject the offer because they value their independence. They propose that all of Romania be annexed to Moldova instead.
1995: Following a referendum, the Romanians accept the Moldavian proposal with 92% of the votes and Romania is annexed to Moldova (see map).
No other countries are alarmed or displeased in any way by these unusual developments due to reasons.
The end.
