Could the Maratha Confederacy have won the Third Anglo-Maratha War (1817-1818)? Also, are the numbers mentioned on wiki under the title "strenght" realistic or are these the losses?

They couldn't survive for much longer. If they won it, they'd stay alive in Maharashtra and then get beaten by the British once and for all.
As for some effects, British expansion would be stunted slightly, which would mean the native powers has more time to adapt to new technology, which would delay British expansion further.
