AHC: Make this map a reality

The challenge is simple - by 1870, make this map of Central Europe here a reality:

You may use any POD no earlier than 1800.

Can it be done?

Prussia does worse in the Napoleonic Wars, and though it manages to gain the Rhineland in the peace talks, it thus isn't in a position to demand anything from Saxony. On the other hand, the various Saxon states all unite, with the King of Saxony as the leader. Something similar happens to the South German states: The alt-1848 unites the SGF.

Desperate to regain influence with the German states, Prussia attacks Denmark over Schleswig-Holstein. Austria and Hanover both join Prussia, and Denmark is annexed (though that borders on ASB, IMO). However, Austria did most of the heavy lifting, and it demands Silesia as its reward. Prussia and Hanover go to war later, and the kingdom is partitioned, with the more important eastern part going to Prussia.

Nah, more like über-Prussia. If it were Denmark then the colors would be different. ;)

Well, it's not so über as a Prussian state. Far less than OTL, except including all of Denmark.
However, the Blue thing might be a Denmark victorious, that partitioned Prussia with Saxony, Austria, Russia and Hanover. VEEERY unlikely, indeed, unless you turn 19th centrury's Denmark into an Israel-like hypermilitarist state for some weird reason, and-or handwave some sort of Danish Napoleon fool enough to consent those odd borders.

I actually realized that Prussia annexing Denmark after the alt-Congress could be a possibility - after all, it collaborated with Nappy.

True, but the Congress wanted to "restore".
Maybe Saxony sides with the Coalition in this TL, so Prussia is given Denmark instead, and Russia gets western Poland (compensation, since Denmark used to be Russian ally and the two royal houses were related). Maybe the Danish house is given that odd place in Alsace at France's expense.
When Austria and Prussia come to fight over dominance in Germany (no Holstein crisis in this TL of course) Austria wins and takes most of Silesia.
Minor arrangements make the rest of Germany coagulate under bavarian, saxonian or Hanoverian leadership.

Didn't notice that. Maybe it's not Hanover but Oldenburg.
I also see that Silesia seems partitioned along the Oder between Austria and Russia, while Prussia, or whatever it is, has actually got Lusatia from Saxony but NOT the rest of the Saxonian lands.
OTOH, saxony has somewhat got most of Hessen. Maybe the POD is in 1864. Prussia goes alone at war with Denmark and goes to take it all. A coalition is made to counter its expansionism, including Russia, Austria, Bavaria, Hanover and Saxony. The other German states side with Prussia. At the beginning the Prussians win some battle and occupy Lusatia and Hanover, then they are defeated and ask for terms, but are still strong enough to keep Denmark, Lusatia and half Hanover. Their german allies are totally steamrolled and given to Saxony and Bavaria. The latter must have fared very good in the war, which should be explained in some way: OTL's bavarian military was nowhere so fine.
Still, i can't see a reason in the universe why Prussia would ever prefer keepinh Denmark than Silesia.

Hanover maintained the Union with Great Britain when it abolished the salic law in favour of Victoria; so UK continued to protect it.

For Prussian Denmark i imagine a dynastical union in early 19th century, so no Schlewig wars. UK recognized the union in exchange to his rights on Hanover, so in the end Austria accepted as well.

In 1866 Italy didn't ally with Prussia, Austria and its maior allies (Saxony and Bavaria) won the seven weeks war and retake Silesia. However he recognize some Prussian annexations in Central Germany. A winning Austria means no Austria-Hungary.

To better control Prussia, Austria permitted to Saxony and Bavaria to take their neighboring states.

Then, instead of French-Prussian war of 1870 we had a French-Austrian war. Austria won and took Alsace but it could not form Germany because it not controlled Prussia and Hanover, and Saxony and Bavaria were happy of the new status quo.
