AHC: Make the Second World War about fighting Communism

But the US wasn't communist so it doesn't add up. Unless the Nazis didn't recognise the Americans as attacking them, but that's another story.
Are you really asking for logic from the Nazis?;) To them it was about Communism because all other nations were supposedly controlled by Jews, who had created Communism to oppress the Aryan race. It's insane, but from that perspective WW2 was about fighting Communism.

The US was marginal to the project. Hitler would happily have foregone the war against Britain and the USA. Even France. The point was to fight Communism - Judeo-Bolshevism, in his rather odd understanding of things. It was a very effective propaganda line, too. But unlike many other propaganda lines, it was meant seriously.

Communism won, though.

Get rid of Stalin and Bukharin and the more sensible isolationist types. Socialism in One Country never becomes the Soviet policy, and the USSR eventually comes into conflict with the West when it keeps intervening in neighboring nations to try to spread Communism.

The Spartacus Uprising goes as planned, and Germany goes red (syndicalist) under the leadership of the charismatic Rosa Luxemburg. The new regime is heavily interventionist, and sets off a second great war when it and Red Spain stage a joint invasion of France to spread the revolution. Britain supports the French, but the (less successful, Trotskyist, probably with tsarists still in Siberia) USSR abandons its token "alliance" with them and enters on Germany's side.
