The Yuan lasted 97 years, the Qing did better in longevity, lasting 276 years. How could we have the Qing fall in the 18th century, or the Yuan last until the fifteenth or sixteenth centuries?
I think it’s a result of the Qing government being more stable in general. That and no Black Death. Is it all just a matter of the Qing being more sinicized?
I think that the lack of civil wars in general is the most important factor instead. The Yuan Dynasty had plenty of opportunity to suppress rebels to the south, but they spent too much energy bickering amongst themselves rather than fighting the rebels. No Black Death is probably the most important factor.

Perhaps a more troubled succession after emperor Kangxi's death?Good points on the Yuan. How can we mess up the Qing after the three feudatories but before 1800?
