AHC: Make the communists win the Greek civil war.

The Greek Civil War took place from 1943 to 1949. It was mainly fought against the established Kingdom of Greece, which was supported by the United Kingdom, the United States and France and won in the end. The losing opposition was governed by the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and its military branch, the Democratic Army of Greece (DSE), as well as the People's Republic of the Provisional Democratic Government. The rebels were supported by Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union.
Your challenge should you choose to accept it is to make the communists win the civil war establishing a soviet communist regime in Greece with a POD starting as early as 1945.

Maybe it could happen in the Fascist Republic of India scenario- the Indian revolt under Bose, sparked by a Japanese invasion of India 1942 or 43 or 44, is the kind of thing to keep Britain too busy to spare troops for Greece. The US, seeing Greece as an unfruitful road to victory, weren't going to spare troops. But the Soviets, marching through Bulgaria, just send some Divisions further south to scrape along the Aegean sea in Thrace, Salonika, and Macedonia, firming up the already considerable edge the Greek Communists had, and the KKE uses that edge internally to control all of Greece top to bottom. There was KKE activity on most islands, and capturing coatal mainland towns means capturing boats, and that should be enough to seize power over islands without a foreign army contesting things and deliberately siding with the non-communist factions.

The US and UK decide to use the security battalions and other Greek former collabs against the communists more widely but its eventually found out and causes popular outrage against the Kingdom and their backers and possibly ( though unlikely) causes the US and UK to withdraw due to the kingdom trying to distance themselves to placate the public and also perhaps causes more backing to the Peoples Republic

Turkey intervenes in the civil war on the side of the right wingers leading to popular uprising against them

It's easy to kill Churchill in 1944, because everything else will work as it is

Without him, the British would not intervene in the Greek Civil War

Here we will have the case of Taiwan, where the communists rule in Athens and the king rules in Crete

KKE had forces and apparatus in Crete. They aren’t vampires who magically can’t cross water.

There is such a thing as the Royal Navy

Another name is white terrorism

It is possible that the British will secure the islands to the greek royalist

And there is white terrorism that leads to the flight of the communist loyalists to the mainland

Brainstorming, maybe if the Cold War starters earlier, maybe the Iranian Azerbaijan crisis could be a good point(Stalin uses the power of hindsight or whatever to know he will get scammed in his deal with the Iranian PM and decides to annex Azerbaijan?), the USSR at that point was still trying to not piss off the West too much in 'unimportant' regions like its southern flank, so they decided to respect the percentages agreement that put Greece in the British sphere. Maybe greater disregard for the treaty means the USSR backs the KKE.
