AHC: Make Swedenborgianism a somewhat relevant religion

Swedenborgianism is a religion founded in the late 1700s by Emanuel Swedenborg as a new spiritual somewhat Christian religion, but it never became very large. How could Swedenborgianism become a relevant religion and have at least a million followers today.

The main problem seem that it simply hit too early, so it lacked steam when the Great Awakening hit, next it wasn't isolationistic enough. Mormonism, Jehova's Witnesses and Amish have used different technic to cut themselves off from the rest of society.

Alternatively Swedenborg could attempt to establish the Church while he himself lived in Sweden. This could result in members of this religious movement fleeing to British America, and establish settlements there. The Swedish government could also deport the Swedenborgians who stayed behind to the frontier in Ostroborthia in Finland, where they could have some success in converting the local Swedes. The result would be isolated Swedish speaking population in northern Finland embracing a different faith. It would create a interesting split between the Swedish speaker in northern and southern Finland
