AHC make Islam or christianity polytheistic

You could redefine what polytheism means. I mean, there are people that think the Nicene Creed is polytheism.

Druzes and Alawites are self-idendifying Muslims (although not always viewed as Muslims by other followers of Islam), whose beliefs are very different from mainstream Islam. Reincarnation and Al-Hakim as incarnation of God and so on. There are also Muslims regarding Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as prophet, despite fact, that Muhammad is claimed to be last prophet. So I think it is not impossible to have self-identifying Muslims, who'd be considered polytheist.

The both of them though are just branches of Shi’a Islam. Druze derive from the schisms during the reign of al-Hakim during the Middle Fatimid period among its Ismaili ruling class and populace; which created Qarmatians, Nizari, Druze and others.

Alawites are a branch of the Twelver Shi’a and prior to recent times, there was large intermingling between the Alawites and wider Imamites regarding their books and scholastic views. The primary Alawite scholars were praised by the major Twelver Ulema fairly recently. In general, both of these groups are described by major Twelver Shi’a scholars as ghulat, as they supposedly exaggerate. In the case of the alawites, they say Ali is Allah or he is greater than Allah. Druze for a myriad of other reasons...

But they're also all one person.

Careful. 'Person' has a special meaning in Trinitarian discussions. The three are one essence, not one person.
You can't pray to one of them and not get the other two.
Traditional Christian prayers are often addressed to individual persons of the Trinity, but I think that they (or at least their theologians) would agree that praying to one person effectually is praying to all three.

literlaly imposible
as chirstianity and islam at their core are monothiestic relgions

i know chirstinity has the trinity but if you pray to one person of it you are praying to all 3

so the idea that chirstianity can become polytheistic by adoring 3 gods is imposible as the first chirstians where monotheist and the as we see in the early writting of the cruch fathers the trinity was already there the one in 3 was also there

islam is even more imposible as just putting partherns with allah is shirk

I think the latest realistic POD for Christianity is maybe Clovis concerting to Arianism instead of Catholicism. A Frankish Empire could probably overthrow the Pope or force him to radically depart from the Nicene Christianity previously espoused. After Clovis, though, Catholicism was way too powerful for it to change. Maybe an Arian Christianity makes Islam polytheistic?? Muhammad clearly utilized Christian theology in the formation of Islam, so maybe if Arianism takes hold he makes Islam polytheistic. Other than that, maybe have the Satanic Verses be real and generally accepted as factual doctrine instead of Satan
