Now, with a POD no earlier than 1930 (year picked at random ), how could we defend Hong Kong better? Or, failing that, reduce losses so that some of the original garrison can live to fight another day? Or, if those won't work, make the Battle of Hong Kong the Thermopylae of the Far East?
