AHC: Majority Bahá'í Faith country by 1950

Your challenge is to have at least one country's population be mostly followers of the Bahá'í Faith by 1950. This doesn't have to be a large majority, 51% will do.

Before anyone asks, I posted this in Before 1900 because I think this would be more feasible with an earlier POD.

Imperial Russia was rather tolerant of Baha'is and even offered the Bahaullah asylum from Iran in the 1840s.

POD: Bahaullah goes to Russia-controlled Azerbaijan or Turkmenistan instead of the Ottoman Empire. The movement spreads and converts most of the region; Soviet anti-religious policies don't fully suppress it, and the post-Soviet state is majority Baha'i.
