AHC: Maintain Minor Colonial Empires

Your challenge should you choose to accept is to expand the colonial empires that the lesser powers (colonially speaking) acquired in the 17thc/18thc to more than mere trading posts by the time the Napoleonic Wars roll around. And also the effects that this would have on the futures of the countries involved.

Denmark: Tranquebar, Serampore, Balasore, Gondalpara, Calicut, the Malabar Coast and the Nicobar Islands; Danish Gold Coast
Sweden: Carolusborg, Fort Batenstein, Jumore, Cabo, (maybe even New Sweden)
Courland: Trinidad & Tobago; Courlander Gambia
Brandenburg/Prussia: Brandenburger/Prussian Gold Coast, St. Thomas, Arguin;
Ostend Company: Canton, China; Cebelon, Malabar Coasts; Surat; Bengal; Mocha; Banquibazar, Brazil, Nancowry, Camorta, Trinket, Katchal and Teressa
Antwerp Company: Delagoa Bay, Madagascar, Mangalore, Karwar and Baliapatam
The Dutch Republic: Ceylon, South Africa, Java, Sumatra, Suriname, Burma, various posts in Siam, Japan, Taiwan, Persia, Yemen & India.

One (or a couple of them) of them, or all of them at the same time? Because the first is a lot easier than the second. Also I am surprised that the Dutch republic is included, as that was one of the major colonial powers, certainly on the level of Portugal.

Either one is good - single or multiple. It's your decision.

I included the Dutch Republic because while they had a large empire colonially, they seem to be more interested in trading than in colonizing per se.

With the exception of Britain, Iberia and France in the America's (and even then it was limited at different times), colonies were established to further trade, not to annex swathes of land, that did'nt start until the mid-19th century.
