AHC: Kensington Runestone is Authentic, the Viking Settlement of Minnesota!

For those who have not heard of the Kensington Runestone, it is a stone that supposedly shows Viking writings found in a farmers field in Minnesota. The challenge is this, make a line of events that leads to a real viking settlement in Minnesota.

Well while the Kensington Runestone isn't proven to be fake, depending on who you ask, the AHC is void because according to the Kensington Runestone, there was no settlement of the area. The story on the stone is an expedition exploring a landclaim. It details a grisly massacre of men in the general area. It is thought, by those who take it seriously, to be the last remebered object of a completely failed expedition to explore territory.

i believe its real (mainly because some of the runes on the stone were initially thought to be fake, but at a later date identified to be ruins from an isolated part of gottland, where part of the party was from). that being said, to get a settlement there, first we will need an expanded Vinland settlement. Hop will need to be a success (Hop - the actual vinland settlement somewhere in the maritime provines or north-eastern states). Then you'll need several more towns and cities and trading ports before any inland settlements will be built. Though the great lakes area could see some trading ports, etc, built, for local trade should VInland actually flourish

Finally someone is brainstorming the idea.

How about this, Medieval Warm Period continues, Little Ice Age never happens, Greenland continues to have more settlements which trade with Hop, and we go from there. This might also add a little interest to mainland Europe as well.

Finally someone is brainstorming the idea.
All I was saying is, that asking for AHC: Viking Settlement In Minnesota, or Kensington Runestone Mission Succeeds, would make more sense. Because if the Stone is authentic, you would have to have the mission fail.

Okay, I understand that I just kinda came up with the idea once I heard about the stone.
