AHC: Joan, Queen of Navarra and France

What if Philippe V did not become King of France after his nephew Jean Ier le Posthume died four days after his birth and Jean's four year old sister Jeanne was made ruling queen of both Navarra and France? Thus Phillippe is not able to introduce Salic Law in France (which he did in OTL to prevent that Jeanne is able to take the throne from him). How will that affect history?

It would be quite hard. Even if the Salic law wasn't institutionalized at this time, its principes were still existing : after all it seemed natural that the crown would have been transmited to a man as it was always the case.

Furthermore Joan was minor, with an illegitimacy suspicion around its birth...

Let's the the Valois couldn't do it because of an earlier POD (death? vilainy? war?) and maybe it could be considered as a serious choice, critically if the closer are only the Plantagenets.

For the consequences, i would say nothing regarding direct consequences...But if the Etats Generaux acknowledge the principe of woman acession to the crown, it could butterly the 100 years war at least as we know it.

But really, it would necessit an earlier extinction of Valois before, and it's hard to do.

Assuming Joan lives a normal lifespan and has children, the Hundred Years War never happens. If she has the same child as in real life, France eventually has the pleasure of being ruled by Charles the Bad.

If she dies young, she is succeeded by Philip V, who will be followed by his eldest daughter rather than by Charles IV. Again, no Hundred Years War because Edward III needed a version of the Salic Law to exist in order to have a claim.

Ideal scenario would see the death of her uncles and her marriage to Philip of Valois, with her and Philip assuming the throne together. He dies prematurely, by which time she is already in power, adult, experienced, popular. When she goes to remarry - maybe a foreign prince - xenophobia leads the nobles to insist she takes the crown alone as Regnant and not Consort, á la Mary Tudor OTL, so as to exclude the foreigner from any effective power.
