AHC: Israel, Ukraine, and/or Georgia in NATO

The challange is to get one or more of the following nations in NATO: Israel, Ukraine, and Georgia.

Why haven't any of these nations been accepted into NATOS? Was it for political, strategic, or economic reasons that they have thus far been denied membership? It can't be geography, if the Chezch Republic qualifies, then there is no geographic reason for Ukraine not to accepted. If Turkey qualifies, then there is no geographic reason for the exclusision of Israel. Georgia is similar to the situation of Ukraine, borders the black sea, easily accessible.

So why haven't they been accepted into NATO, and what would have to happen to have one or more of them brought into NATO.

They aren't in because WWIII would certainly get a much increased chance.

Ukraine and Georgia could join if Russia does, which was possible as late as the early 2000s according to Gorbachev, Yeltsin, and Putin's public statements.

NATO was designed to be a counterforce to the Warsaw Pact, so Israel is geographically located outside NATOs "natural range of operations"....Turkey was accepted as is located just at the south of then Soviet Union and it is a great place to control the Black Sea and it's straits to the Mediterrean Sea.
Other point against Israel is the permanent state of war with Arab countries....as an attack against against a NATO member is considered an attack against all NATO members, you can just imagine the chaos that a war like Yom Kippur would generate.

Finally, IMHO, Israel always wanted freedom to act military against percevered aggressions and threats, so I doubt that Israeli government would even try to be a member of a coordinated military command

I could see Israel making membership in NATO and the EU, as well as the deployment of NATO (mostly American) troops and nuclear weapons on Israeli soil a condition of allowing a Palestinian state and eliminating their independent nuclear program. It would bring Israel firmly under the Euro-American aegis, and would guarantee Israeli security.

Georgia isn't in in part due to the dispute over South Ossetia and Abkhazia, and while most NATO countries view South Ossetia and Abkhazia as parts of Georgian territory, they also are honest enough to admit that Georgia's actions were a major factor in causing the 2008 crisis. (At least, everyone in NATO except the USA...)

As long as the Arab world refuses to even accept Israel'e existence, NATO won't be so stupid as to further annoy them.

The last two are seen by Russia as naturally under its sphere of influence, so as long as NATO is seen as a western organization, their accession will provoke a hostile response from Russia.
