Israel and The European Union have always had great relations. Even though the Jewish State is not geographically part of Europe, it takes part in many events and is culturally similar, just like Cyprus(though it can be debated that its part of Europe, nonetheless it is a European Union member).
Many members of Israeli Parliment and politicians in Europe push for the nation to join The Union.
That being said, what can make Israel be an official member of The European Union? I would have members of The European Union mediate between Israel and their surrounding Arab Neighbors for peace, as well as come up with a two-state solution.
Also, relations between Israel and Turkey(a European Union member) need to pick up since they've been strained since the Gaze Flotilla Raid.
How would you help them join?
