In 1966, NBC was paved the way for cancellations of many shows, including Branded, Dr. Kildare, The John Forsythe Show, My Mother the Car, Mona McCluskey, Camp Rumamuck, Hank and Mister Roberts.

Similarity, CBS cancelled The Munsters, The Trials of O'Brien, The Smothers Brothers Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Art Linkletter's Hollywood Talent Scouts, Perry Mason and My Favorite Martian.

Also ABC was to cancel the Thursday night edition of Peyton Place, The Legend of Jesse James, A Man Called Shenandoah, The Long Hot Summer, The Baron, Honey West, McHale's Navy, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, The Patty Duke Show, Blue Light, Gidget, The Farmer's Daughter and Tammy.

In place on NBC were a lot of new shows, including Hey, Landlord!, The Monkees, The Roger Miller Show, The Girl from U.N.C.L.E., Occasional Wife, Star Trek, The Hero, Tarzan and T.H.E. Cat.

In place on CBS were a lot of new shows, including It's About Time, The Garry Moore Show, Run Buddy Run, Family Affair, The Jean Arthur Show, Jericho, The CBS Friday Night Movies, Pistols n' Petticoats and Mission: Impossible.

In place on ABC were a lot of new shows including The Iron Horse, The Rat Patrol, Felony Squad, The Rounders, The Pruitts of Southampton, Love on a Rooftop, The Monroes, The Man Who Never Was, ABC Stage 67, The Tammy Grimes Show, That Girl, Hawk, The Green Hornet, The Time Tunnel and Shane.

In the November of 1966, after Procter & Gamble passed on Captain Nice, P&G was willing on to buy Dragnet 1967, in order to replace Hey, Landlord! on the lineup. Also NBC was forged to cancel The Hero and Please Don't Eat the Daisies. In place on The Hero's timeslot was a primetime version of the hit daytime game show Eye Guess, and in place on Please Don't Eat the Daisies' timeslot was Journey into Fear, a Greenway production.

Similarity, in the October of 1966, ABC forged to cancel Love on a Rooftop and add it with a sitcom called Little Leatherneck, which was filmed at the Paramount Studios in Hollywood, placing it right between Bewitched and That Girl.

Also, in the October of 1966, CBS decided to drop out Pistols n' Petticoats from the lineup and replace it was Gladasya's The Help for United Artists Television, is a Sherwood Schwartz production.

Fully ITTL, IOTL, Dragnet 1967 replaced The Hero on NBC, and Please Don't Eat the Daisies and Hey, Landlord! stayed on the lineup and the primetime version of Eye Guess and Journey into Fear never happened, ABC wanted Love on a Rooftop to stay in the lineup (albeit in a new time between Bewitched and That Girl) and Little Leatherneck never happened, and CBS decided that Pistols n' Petticoats to stay in the lineup and The Help never happened.
