Your challenge is to have the House of Anjou or its cadet branches contest and succeed in holding the title of Western Roman Emperor/Holy Roman Empire, recognised by both the Latins and a potentially surviving ERE.

They must control Iberia and France.

Which house of Anjou or doesn't that matter.

The Ingelger house of Anjou, the Gatinais house of Anjou (later Plantagenets), the Capetian house of Anjou, Valois-Anjou etc.

Any of the houses would do - but I was only aware of the Capetian, Plantagenet, or Valoius-Anjou houses.

Bonus points for:

1) Rule from Provence.

2) Direct Territory from Gibraltar to the mouth of the Rhine.

3) Control of the Maghreb.

4) Control of Italy.

5) Member of the house on the throne of the ERE.
