AHC: Have the name "India" refer solely to the Indus Valley

With a POD as far back as is necessary, have the name "India" refer only to the lands that are in the modern country of Pakistan.

What would India as we know it be called instead?

Bonus points if you can have as few butterflies as is plausible.

Bharat? That is the word for India in many Indo-Iranian languages.

The Mauryan Empire had its birth in Magadha, the kingdom in the Gangetic Plain, far away from the Indus Valley. The capital Pataliputra was near Patna in the present state of Bihar in the eastern India. Hence the name India has no connection with the Mauryan Empire.
The name India came from the name 'Sindhu', the River Indus. In Persian language the letter H is used in place of S. From 'Sindhu' came 'Hindu' and 'India'. Indians have used several names for India, like Bharatvarsh, Aryavart, Jambudweep, Hindustan etc. Bharat is the most common and also the official name of India.
