AHC: Have Stalin be the leader of a country BESIDES Russia or the US

Your challenge is to have Josef Stalin be the de facto leader of a country, which ISN'T any iteration of Russia (including the Soviet Union) or the United States.

No, Joe Steele, not today. :p;)

How, though? :p;)

A) White Russia holds on to Muscovy

B) The Soviet Republics fall into infighting after the death of Lenin.

C) Trotsky gives Stalin a strongman position over his homeland as a sign of compromise. Stalin reasserts his communism in one country Marxist Leninist ideology when the USSR goes to war with a slightly less volkish National Socialist Germany.

There is a White victory in the Russian civil war.

Georgian Bolsheviks return to their homeland over the years, and become organized under Stalin's leadership. He retains his contacts with the criminal underworld from his days as Lenin's right hand man in the Caucasus and leader of "expropriations" for the Bolsheviks, and builds a formidable mob to enforce his interests. By the late 20s the Stalinists become a mass movement combining Bolshevism with Georgian nationalism.

Georgia is forced to cede territory to Turkey and Russia.

After a failed coup by conservative forces, the Stalinists seize power from the Menshevik regime and proceed to destroy all opposition.

The country is ruled in a similar fashion to OTLs Communist Albania. After a brief power struggle, Beria is purged as a Turkish agent. In the late 30s, Russia again falls into disarray after a defeat by Japan. Stalin's goal is to recreate a Transcaucasian Union under his control, but he has to find a way to deal with Turkey.
