The challenge appears simple, but it isn't. Ladislaus V, the king of Bohemia and Hungary should be the King of Poland by the law of strict primogeniture (he was the closest living male descendant of Casimir III). The thing is that Poland abandoned this law before Ladislaus V was born, so he couldn't take advantage of his descendence from Casimir III. So how to keep power in Casimir III's line and not to butterfly chain of events leading to Ladislaus's birth? @Jan Olbracht
