AHC - Have Italy unify in the 20th century

Without the war of 1859:

1. much of northern Italy would have remained in Austrian hands.
2. Sardinia would have been much less likely to have been able to absorb the states of central Italy (Parma, Tuscany, the Papal States, and Modena.)
3. Austria may well have decided to assist the Kingdom of Naples to maintain its independence.
4. Sardinia would have been less likely to attack Austria in 1866, increasing the chances of Venice remaining a part of Austria.

So, our point of departure would be either:
1. A French decision to refrain from making war on Austria in 1859.
2. An Austrian victory in the war of 1859.

Perhaps have France focus more on Germany and Mexico?
