AHC: Have colonial languages dominant in Indochina, Indonesia, and the Philippines

My AH challenge is to have French, Dutch, and Spanish become dominant language in Indochina, Indonesia, and the Philippines respectively with POD no later than 1850.

I am interested with the TL where French, Dutch, and Spanish are the dominant language for Indochina, Indonesia, and the Philippines compared to Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Tagalog respectively in OTL.

OTL 20th century like colonial policies of USA, with OTL 20th century like public education of USA within a generation with a promise of independence in a couple of decades.

Philippines side is unique. Besides already been a colony of Spain for almost 300 years by your PoD with Spanish colonists already mixing with the population. In OTL 1898-99, Aguinaldos republic's official language was Spanish. Had it gained recognition as a political independent entity by USA, Philippines would have the same problems as OTL Mexico in terms of language.

While OTL Indonesia and Vietnam borders were just recently conquered or is in the process of being totally conquered which would base the reason more on the policies of the colonial powers rather having an option being expelled by the locals with the locals adapting the Dutch, French language.

The same is for Nusa Tengarra and Sulawesi for the Portuguese

I think a portuguese philippines and indonesia will be better in some way

If the Portuguese are the ones who allied with Lakandula, Luzon will end up like congo or east timor, retaining its independence on paper but they will speak portuguese as their 2-3rd language and mindanao would have less reason to resist and south east asia will be a portuguese lake.

I always wondered why after centuries of Dutch colonial rule why more Indonesians don`t speak Dutch .Then I found that it was because the Dutch were there only to get spices not controll the islands like the British .So maybe your POD could be where more Dutch settlers go to the Indies and settle down ,then Missionaries come to convert the locals to the true religion :p and teach them Dutch as a way of doing it .

I don't think they would want the missionaries. The Spanish, British, and others found them a bit of a nuisance since they wrote back home about the horrible things being done to the natives.

Also, the idea that the occupying power is converting your people away from the native traditions pisses off the natives more than anything else. It hits a visceral nerve that encourages revolts.
