The challenge is with a PoD after 1918 to have a Greater Syrian nation be born consisting pf at least Syria, Lebanon and Iraq. Bonus Points for Palestine, Jordan and whatever else you can fit in.
major POD 1: make a change to this and make sure Lebanon is included in the new Republic.
major POD 2: Israel slowly becomes more Soviet-aligned, and Cold War blocks growth of pro-Israel voting caucus. Pan-Arabism, with support from the US, becomes much stronger, resultant in the Arab Republic of the Fertile Crescent and Northern Africa.
