AHC: Greater Israel

Your challenge is to have modern Israel encompass (formally. as it fully recognized by the UN, don't worry about every other power because those guys can be fickle :p) the territory of Gaza, West Bank, Golan Heights and Lebanon. All of this after 1900, so there is wiggle room in the sense that you can change the initial partition areas.

Extra points go to anyone who can get a larger area either with or without legal recognition. *Please no flame wars*

Sadat is killed before Siani is transferred and Isreal keeps it. Eventually the UN recognizes Isreal in their full form

That's the best I got

Easy. Have everything happen the exact same way up to 67 war. Israel invades Lebanon in the 80s like in OTL and never leaves.
The only ASB part is the UN recognition. They would NEVER recognize occupied sovereign territory to matter how much time passes.

Doing so would subsequently open the flood gates to irredentist dreams for any country with a territorial bone-to-pick and that in turn would be akin shooting itself as diplomatic body dedicated global peace and stability the foot.

-Sadat dies in 1974 with a botched coup attempt and the new Egyptian government repudiates the peace treaties, the Suez canal remains open but the Sinai stays Israeli

-Lebanon proves too strategic to let go and the Syrian/Iranian overlords are caught providing direct aid, a slight twist of fate causes Arafat to die in the shelling of West Beirut in 1982 and the scramble over his succession causes heinous acts of terrorism.

-Israel decides that leaving PLO or pro-PLO forces in Lebanon on any basis will jeopardize its future security and occupies the whole of Lebanon. Gemayel is still assassinated and Lebanon becomes akin to the Sinai as an "area of special interest". Widespread settlement begins, especially in the Sinai, and ironically defuses some of the tensions with Muslim (West) Palestinians in the West Bank relative to OTL, but only just. The occupation of Lebanon and its status as a de facto province of Israel lead to greater outcries among other Arabic populations as an example of the crusades renewed

-With the First Gulf War there are cries by Saddam to retake Israeli territory and a small Syrian contingency acts on this 'against the orders of the President' but leading to a series of skirmished in the Golan Heights that cause greater sympathy and stronger claims for the Israeli ownership of the region

-As Syria descends into civil war the non-Assad factions ironically ask Israel for tacit help, especially as False-Caliphate forces descend from near the Iraq border. While not becoming a satellite state, Syria begins to rebuild with Israeli help in exchange for a treaty leaving the Golan heights in Israeli hands but with a limited number of military personnel stationed there.

-Egyptian forces under the sway of the Muslim Brotherhood/Morosi begin making noise about retaking the Sinai and perhaps the entirety of Israel, their plans are shattered as the government falls. Publication of these plans leads to thorough denials from Cairo but the plans are later authenticated when a copy is published following a raid by US forces in Pakistan. The Sinai remains in Israeli hands.

The precursors of the Palestinian movement openly support the Nazis and - I admit that's the difficult part - score enough victories to be seen as a threat by the victorious allies.

But even then I cannot see how this Israel can survive without some Muslim allies - what about an understanding between non-racist Muslims and Jews? Do you require your greater Israel to be named "Israel" or does an Israeli-Palestinian state count?

The Lebanese Civil War was very messy. The best way to get Israel to annex Lebanon is to have a more left-wing Syria (see fear-not the revolution, it's an amazing TL) intervene vigorously in the Lebanese Civil War and switch sides even more than it did OTL. Have the Christians of Lebanon basically call on Israel and have Syria seem so threatening with its left-wing-ness that Israel's annexation of Lebanon is more or less accepted by most major actors outside the Soviet bloc. The end of the Cold War and some future implosion in Syria with Druze and Alawites fighting Damascus would probably draw in Israel even more into Lebanon and its adjacent areas.

The Sykes Picot agreement is different and post WW1 Britain makes the territoy of Palestine is much larger, including the areas in the challenge. Then they only promise the land to the Jews and they tell the Arabs to either accept it or leave. Following the depression and Nazi takeover millions of jews move into this Greater Israel. By 1943 all jews have left German occupied Europe for Israel.

Post WW2 they go independent peacefully from the UK and assilimate the remaining Arabs. Pan-Arabism never rise due to no wars with Israel and instead ideologies remain the main 'divider'. Communists in Syria, monarchists in Iraq, Bhaatists in Egypt and Israel remaining the neutral negotiater who just wants to keep the peace in the region.

1) Have the Hashemites defeat the Saudis. What in OTL becomes Jordan now becomes Palestine. West bank becomes part of Israel right from the beginning.
2)The Lebanese Civil war causes internal ethnic migration. Rather than leave Lebanon, for North an South America, the Maronites move south as do the Druse. In the wake of Sunni and Shia genocidal insanity, they petition Israel to annex Southern Lebanon. - Southern Lebanon becomes part of Israel
3) A cash strapped Egypt sells the Sinai to Israel. Sinai is now part of Israel
4)gaza is tricky. One atrocity too many from the radical fringe of what ever acronym is in power today involving prominent EU grandees or American actors and the Israelis decide enough is enough and the world shrugs more concerned with some actress' drunken shenannigens

forgot about the Golan.
Have ISIS defeat Assad. Thus no more Syria only the caliphate. Can't return territory to an entity that no longer exists can you. Golan now firmly part of Israel.
