AHC: Give Brazil a larger role in the World Wars

I don't think so, sorry. I really believe that even with Brazil putting our blood in the beaches and fields in Europe the rest of the world would still look down on us. They did it with Portugal, Italy and Japan in WWI, Brazil hardly would get a different treatment as this countries had.

This might result in a more powerful left on the post war, capitalising on a mutilated victory.
TBH, you come off to me as someone who really looks down on their own nation, by how you say that everyone else looks down on it.

I have read that FDR did want Brazil on the UNSC, but Stalin wouldn't have it as it would mean another pro West nation on the council. Maybe something could be done about that. Have France get worse treatment, as in it becomes an occupation area, while Brazil takes France's seat, making Stalin not be so opposed as it would be the same number of pro West members, instead of more.

The problem isn't Stalin but the US Senate. Unless Brazil does a LOT more than OTL to help fight the war it isn't going through. The US public would want to know how Brazil rated a permanent seat in the UNSC for doing essentially nothing to earn it.

I mean would the U.S. public and Senate really have a say in the manner though? And what did they think of France and China getting seats? And with an alternate timeline, the issue of Brazil having done "nothing" could be fixed.

Yes, they would. The US is a representative democracy and FDR had to get the treaty confirmed by the US Senate.

Both France and China actually fought, particularly China. France had over 200,000 combat deaths, China had over 3,000,000 while Brazil had around 1,000. It is hard to see how Brazil rated a permanent seat on the UNSC with so few losses. Like I said earlier it would cost Brazil about 200,000 dead or so for it to pass muster with the US public. Every single country that had a permanent seat on the UNSC had at least that many dead.

If the UNSC was determined by the five nations with the most Military deaths who were not members of the Axis, the UNSC would look like: USSR, China, US, UK and.... Yugoslavia. (at least according to Wikipedia). (5 through 7 are Yugoslavia, Poland and France)

By itself, no it was not enough. But it is hardly going to go to someone who suffered 0.5% of the fatalities of the other members. It just wasn't going to happen. To put it plainer it was necessary to bleed badly but not sufficient.

Major Nazis escape to Brazil, hide there, and run the government... oh wait.. that it IRL

Okay.. How about this - instead they continue the war from exile and clone Hitler.

You are seeing too much cold war memes. Argentina took more Germans than Brazil and the Brazilian Nazis were butchered by Vargas political police, the DESPS.

I am as realistic as it can get about Brazil and I'm a student of diplomacy. You have to understand that there are cultural and political aspects that make a bias against Brazil when you are talking about WWII. Most of the people on this forum doesn't even know that we fought in he war, neither the other SA countries that shipped immeasurable tons of raw materials for the allied war effort.
