AHC: Get the Experimental Mechanised Force used in combat

Maybe a kerfuffle in egypt or possibly against the soviets?

What sort of 'kerfuffle' (first time I've heard this word, btw) in Egypt or anywhere in the Empire, except maybe if Australia or Canada rebels and UK decides they absolutely must be brought back, could necessitate use mechanized force?

In the UK vs Soviets there are only two possible battlegrounds - Persia and Afghanistan. Neither is especially conducive for use of mechanized forces, unless you want to lose them very badly.

Maybe against Japan? But again, the terrain at any likely contact point is not very rewarding for mechanized force.

One more option is UK intervenes in Spain, but this has to be before Republicans reveal themselves as Soviet stooges.

Trouble in the middle east following an Ottoman collapse? Desert Storm 70 years sooner.
The Ottomans have already collapsed by then, and as far as Britain is concerned main responsibility for controlling problems in the middle east "now" lies with the RAF rather than the army: google the term 'air control'.
